You should not get the error "The Organizer database is damaged and will be reset the next time Acrobat is launched” anymore. Now test it opening any file with which you were having problems with. In the section “Open Settings” go to where it says: “Remember files in Organizer History for:”ħ. In the Categories Column (on the left) select and highlight Documents.ģ.

In case it helps someone this is how I solved it for the time being until Adobe comes up with a solution:Ģ. This morning I got fed up of all the user calls complaining about how this issue was interrupting their work so I decided to disable the Organizer in the meantime so they can work without having to deal with the error screen popup. You again Dimitri and Ikassuba for your time and support, I hope someone will jump in here or on the other forum with a solution soon.

I was about to reinstall it, but after looking up the issue in Google, I realized that many people were having the same issue and in my experience, reinstalling acrobat sometimes becomes a big problem with license and corruption issues so I have been resisting the urge to do this.

I did check the updater log file just to check if any update had occurred without me knowing about it. They had been working without issues for about 10 months.

It's the only way to keep a stable environment. I have all programs blocked so they cannot do automatic updates so I can make sure that only the updates that I want to happen and apply actually do happen when I need them to. The computers affected are from a company where I provide the network administration services. I have been following this issue closely and find very interesting that no one from Adobe has shown any concern to solve it since it is becoming more and more prevalent. We are NOT TALKING about Windows XP – We ARE talking about VISTA. it simply is NOT there.the path is there (after enabling to view hidden and system files) but the folder is not.neither in my installation nor in any of the Vista installations of the customers I service. Now, this said, there is no "Organizer90" folder in the path C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\. I have reviewed all the posts regarding this issue both in this forum and others and as a computer engineer who makes a living on these issues, I have attempted all of the above suggestions. It was working perfectly for several months until yesterday.

So, only the location was incorrectly listed for Vista.I have the same problem with Vista Ultimate, Vista Business and Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. For Windows Vista the default location is at:Ĭ:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Organizer90 %UserProfile%\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Organizer90 Lkassuba wrote:I mention that the "file" not "folder" for Organizer in Acrobat 9 is located at:
